Hi Kannan & Prakash, great idea for this Tamil album… for 20yrs I sang SERIBU BINTANG, time for me to learn “ENGEYUM SELLUM”.Hopefully, I can find in vcd karaoke this tamil album. Anyway..both of u done a good job as ALLEYCATS loyal fan with this album,but always remember…who we are as a fans without this GREAT..GREAT..ALLEYCATS. …TERIMA KASIHHHHHH….ALLEYCATS FOREVER.

Thank you both, for the great website you have done in memory of my dear late husband, the late , loganathan. his memory will forever be in our hearts. The ALLEYCATS still lives on…N you are right about the tamil album.. they never got to do it, I would know.. about, right. Hi i’m glad u did this song page.
but there’s something i need to highlight,as mr kannan’s reply earlier,the alleycats only release ‘Chinnaneh Periyanneh’ in their 20th album called ‘ALLEYCATS 20′ in 1993.Please re-move other song which not sing by tha legends ‘the alleycats’ .i’m sorry,but as a loyal fan,myself,kannan & prakash,we would like to protect their imej so that people don’t get the wrong information about the alleycats.
well,i don’t blame u…actually i personally encourage people to do more about alleycats so the the others generation will continue the alleycats legacy.
“Alleycats true fans know the truth” u know wat i mean?

Hi there, Vanakkam.

I’m a loyal fan of the legendary Alleycats wish to inform everyone that Alleycats NEVER EVER recorded and released a Tamil album. They did sang a few Tamil song during shows. The only original Tamil song written for them that they recorded and included in their 20th Malay album was Chinnaneh Periyanneh. This album, titled ALLEYCATS 20, was released in 1993 contains 10 Malay songs with this tamil song.

So, that so called Tamil album is done by someone else. Its not DAVID ARUMUGAM or LOGANATHAN’s voice at all. The die hard fans can easily recognise their voice. DAVID even has clearly mentioned this during his interview on VIZHUTUKAL program on Astro.
