Kuala Lumpur Navarathiri Arts Festival on 1st – 9th October 2010 at Central Market .
Navarathiri is celebration and tribute to the triumph of good over evil. Durga is personification of courage, strength and power and power, Laksmy represents the wealth and Saraswathy , the providers of arts and knowledge. It is venerated for nine days where the final day is known as Vijaya Dasami, which marks a new beginning of the arts and education.
Asthana Arts and Central Market presents“ Kuala Lumpur Navarathiri Arts Festival” from 1st to 9th October at The Main Stage of Central Market Kuala Lumpur. Previously known as the Kuala Lumpur Navarathiri Dance Festival past three years and it have attracted the arts enthusiasts, tourists, the corporate crowd and students around the area. Asthana Arts is extracting the cultural elements of Navarathir where for nine nights there will be various arts based events that are lined up.

To bring in the arts festival ambience, this time around there will also bazaar traders focusing on Indian Handicrafts, costume jewelleries, attire , delicacies and more.
