Superstar Rajinikanth has halted K.S. Ravikumar’s directorial Rana temporarily, as formers health was not permitting him to act. Latest on Rana is that, the film will have top notch comedians Vivek and Vadivelu in the pivotal roles.
Director K.S. Ravikumar, who is supervising Soundarya R Ashwin for her debutant directorial besides penning the script, screenplay and dialogues, has cleared the air saying, “Rana was put on standstill temporarily, due to unavoidable reasons. The movie will soon go on floors, after Thalaivar wraps up Kochadaiyaan.”
Further he added, “We have bring down late Nagesh to play Rajini’s uncle in Kochadaiyaan, as present comedy actors like Santhanam wouldn’t match up with the role and so I’ve have zeroed in experienced comedians Vivek and Vadivelu to play vital roles in Rana.”
Rajikanth is presently shooting for Kochadaiyaan in Hong Kong along with the cast and crew. Deepika Padukone is playing the female lead in Kochadaiyaan that also features veteran actress Shobana, Sarath Kumar, Rukmini Vijaykumar, Aadhi, Nasser and Jackie Shroff in the important roles. AR Rahman is composing the music and background for Kochadaiyaan that has cinematography by Rajiv Menon.
